''Uomini Più Uomini'' is the eighth studio album by
French singer
Amanda Lear, originally issued on label Ricordi International in 1989. This was her first album feature only tracks sung in Italian. This album, like other several predecessors, was a commercial failure and failed to charts.
Album information
''Uomini Più Uomini'' was only released in Italy where her popularity remained high because of several TV-appearances over the years. The album, however, was a flop. While Amanda's previous recordings usually contained elements dance beat, there was no dance material on this record. The album would re-appear under the name ''
Tant Qu'il Y Aura Des Hommes'' in France the same year with half of the songs re-recorded in French and including a new song "Métamorphose".
It was initially only available on vinyl and cassette, However, German company Siebenpunkts Verlags Gmbh has since acquired the publishing rights to the album and it has been re-packaged and re-released on CD combined with tracks from its French language counterpart ''Tant Qu'il Y Aura Des Hommes'' under the titles ''Je T'aime'', ''Télégramme'', ''Essential'' and ''Indovina Chi Sono'' no less than nine times, once even by a sublabel to one of the
Big Four,
Warner Music France.
